Experience the lake at your own pace either on your own or with a group. We have a variety of watersports equipment available to hire including kayaks, paddleboards, pedalos and more.
To avoid disappointment, pre-booking is advised.
PADDLEBOARDING
If you don’t mind falling in, try a stand-up-paddleboard (SUP), and if you are really out for fun with (good) friends, we have 2 & 4 person SUP’s – getting wet guaranteed! Cost includes buoyancy aid and wetsuit. The chances of you not falling in the water when out on a SUP is very slim, unless you are an experienced SUP user.

XL PADDLEBOARD
MINIMUM 6 PEOPLE, MAXIMUM 10 PEOPLE
Looking for some fun with a group of friends? Why not try our XL Giant Stand Up Paddleboard (getting wet Guaranteed!) Why get a board for each person when you can hire 1 board for the whole group. Cost includes use of buoyancy aid and a wetsuit for each person. Great fun for Birthday parties. The XL board will be instructor managed but not run by.

KAYAKS & CANOES
For our stable sit-on-top kayaks you don’t need any previous experience, you can have great fun on the lake it can easily be done in an hour. A wetsuit and buoyancy aid are included in the cost, and showers are available when you come off the water. You can take younger children out with you on a double kayak, or you might prefer an Open Canoe. The choice is yours.

RAFTED CANOES
Our Rafted Canoes are a fantastic choice for groups and families up to 6 or 8 people. We join a pair of open Canadian canoes parallel with a spar across the centre making a catamaran style boat. They are pretty much impossible to capsize, very stable to control, great for young families and anyone not so sure.
Great fun for birthdays, team building and families.
With the rafted canoes you will require one or two responsible adults onboard. Buoyancy aids are included in the cost.

PEDALOES
If you would like to spend a while chilled out on the water then pedaloes are perfect for you! You will get to experience the feeling of being out on the water without the worry of falling in. However, if you decide to bring your kids with you they are more than welcome to spend their time jumping off and having fun! Buoyancy aids provided within the price.

DINGHIES
Hire a sailing Dinghy at Welton Waters Adventure and explore
WWAC is ideally situated for a great days sailing. The direction of the lake and the positioning next to the bank of the river Humber, creates excellent sailing conditions that can be enjoyed in a traditional wayfarer, Bosun, Laser 2000, Pico’s RS Fava and more, ideal for all the family, or a racing dinghy to test and grow your skills.
Ever popular with children and adults alike, our sailing dinghies are a great way to provide an adventure for the whole family. Experience and prior competence is essential. RYA Level 2 or equivalent and recent sailing experience is required. You must be happy rigging, reefing, launching recovering, capsize recovery.

ACCESS DISABILITY DINGHIES
SINGLE AND DOUBLE PERSON CRAFTS
Why not try one of our Access sailing dinghies – these simple, stable dinghies are designed for wheelchair users, but are good for anyone’s first try at sailing. There is no risk of capsizing and the controls are simple to operate. As we require to check your skill level before we hire these crafts WWAC run training and starter sessions as well as tuition in small groups, Cost includes use of buoyancy aid and wetsuit for each person.

WINDSURFING
Windsurf hire is available from us at Welton Waters Adventure Centre and is a great next step after beginner windsurfing lessons to practice what you’ve learnt. Our windsurf hire consists of the good windsurf equipment to give you the best experience for learning & progressing!
A range of boards & sails covering beginners through to intermediate equipment. All sails (even beginners) rig and boards. Motions, Mabmo, and Rio’s and more. Experience and prior competence is essential. We only hire windsurfing equipment that is suitable for your ability and that of the conditions at the time. We will not allow the hire of equipment if you have not had any tuition previously, so if you are new to the sport of windsurfing it is best to start with a taster session and some lessons. This will ensure you get maximum enjoyment out of the equipment but will prevent any injuries or damage.
Wetsuits, and Buoyancy aids are provided.
