We are a popular destination for schools and groups, we pride ourselves on being able to deliver fun, safe activities based on what your group needs. Our highly qualified team are dedicated to ensuring everyone gets the most out of their visit by helping them to positively embrace new experiences which help develop confidence and communication skills and encourage physical, social and personal development.
For schools can tailor our activities to link in with the National Curriculum and provide cross curricular links as well as developing key skills like decision making, teamwork and communication. Equally if you’re looking for “Year End Funday” we’re the destination for you.
MULTI-ACTIVITY SESSIONS
Whatever your group is – cubs, scouts, schools, birthday parties, stag/hen parties, works days out, or just family and friends – we can tailor an activity for you. It might just be a fun session, or skills training / group ‘bonding’ / teamwork or problem solving or maybe just building up water confidence or water safety.
The activities can be either land or water based or a mixture of both, we tailor the day to suit your needs, for any activity we provide all the equipment i.e. wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets etc.
Our Water Based activities include Sailing (large gigs which take 8 people), Rafted Canoes, Individual Stand-up-Paddleboards, Giant Paddleboards (8 people), Kayaking and Raft Building. Our Land Based activities include Archery and Land Based Team Games (wet or dry). We understand that not everyone wants to leap in the water and can structure the sessions to suit.
For all sessions we provide all the equipment i.e. wetsuits, buoyancy aids etc.
£25pp/2 Hours, £40pp/4 Hours, Minimum group size 8

RAFT BUILDING
Working in teams you will plan, design and build your own raft! Upon completion you will then set sail and test your vessel on the water! Whilst you’re building your rafts you’ll learn knots, designing, planning, construction and most importantly teamwork! Have a competitive side in you? Why not make it a race! To ensure safety whilst on the water the team will be equipped with buoyancy aids, helmets and if were feeling nice we will throw in some paddles!
RAFTED CANOES
Rafted Canoes (Improvised Rafting) offers a safe introduction to water activities. These are 2 Canadian Canoes rafted together which makes an extremely stable platform and brilliant fun! As you paddle along the lake we will guide you through the basics of paddling, steering, stroke technique and stopping. We also offer a range of games such as walking the plank and even lake orienteering.
LAND BASED TEAM GAMES
We deliver both wet and dry team games which test participant’s knowledge and problem solving skills whilst working as a team. The games are designed to improve communication skills, develop teamwork and increase self-esteem.
GIANT PADDLEBOARDS
Our Giant Paddleboards can be used for team building by working together to paddle around our lake, or on the other hand can be used to have a fun time jumping off and a cheeky push wouldn’t go a miss. Our instructors also have a range of creative games that will get everyone involved. Things can start to get a bit wobbly at times so be prepared to fall in!
BIG BOAT SAILING
Big boat sailing is a perfect way to get a group of children more confident in a sailing boat and being on the water in general. They provide much more stability than smaller dinghies and with one of our instructors in the boat, there is next to no chance of the boat going over.
WINDY BRIDGE
The wibbly wobbly windy bridge! A great activity to find your footwork and test your confidence as you run, walk or crawl across the bridge. This activity can be done in any weather and anybody can have a go at it!
ARCHERY
Robin Hood, eat your heart out! Over many years our team of qualified instructors have developed a simplified coaching method which allows participants to learn quickly and have more time shooting and having fun! Our archery team consist of GNAS Archery Leaders who will give you the best tuition possible! Age and ability is no issue we have both children’s and adults bows available. As with all our activities a thorough safety briefing takes places and all equipment will be provided.
NIGHTLINE
This is a team challenge with a difference. The group are blindfolded and have to complete a course full of obstacles using a rope hand line for guidance. The course is in our woodland area and requires the group to work together, increasing their communication skills to describe the different obstacles they encounter. Prepare to get muddy!
